Boss Description

The Divine Key Jizo Mitama is an illusion of an armored samurai generated by a brooding Herrscher. The samurai wields two blades of misfortune and calamity. It is a demonic embodiment of hatred and carnage.

Dark Fetters enables Jizo Mitama's one hit kill skill that covers the whole battlefield. Be sure to Ultimate Evade accordingly. Note that Yamabuki Armor and Wolf Dawn's shield cannot block Dark Fetters.

Dark Fetters enables Jizo Mitama's one hit kill skill that covers the whole battlefield. Be sure to Ultimate Evade accordingly. Note that Yamabuki Armor and Wolf Dawn's shield cannot block Dark Fetters.

After activating Soul Barrier, Jizo Mitama will switch to more powerful attacks (e.g., heavy downward slash occurs twice in a row instead of once). Getting hit by such attacks drains SP.

• Corrupted Form: Corrupted form enables new skills.

• Dark Corruption: Blade Dance: Continuously attacks with left or right hand. Evade/Counter ATK right-hand attacks or deflect left-hand attacks to break the shield. The lower the shield stacks, the more DMG Jizo Mitama takes.

• Dark Corruption: Defensive Stance: Takes a defensive stance to block attacks and then counterattacks, after which the corrupted part of the right hand can be attacked. Break the corrupted part to disable Jizo Mitama.

• Dark Corruption: Blade Formation: Jizo Mitama flashes to the center of the map and summons a blade formation to deal DMG over a large area.

Strategy

Jizo Mitama's Soul Barrier shield is broken by the number of attacks, instead of the usual shields which are broken more readily by heavy attacks. This favors fast firing lasers for shield breaking on Jizo.

Dark Fetters and the Three Relics can make Jizo Mitama much more difficult to beat. It is thus best to compose a team that can finish him before the Relics are summoned.

Jizo has low resistance to Time Fracture. Do chain QTE as much as possible on Jizo for better scores.

When Jizo spawns, if the player is moving towards Jizo (can be at an angle), he uses a quick heavy slash attack; otherwise he uses a thrust attack. Both are easy to dodge. However, the slash is much quicker while the thrust potentially lunges Jizo away from the player (after player dodging). Liliya's ult will miss, for example. Thus, moving to trigger the slash attack is an easy way to save some time. (Keep moving to one direction to ensure the slash attack is triggered.)

Using a character that can use the throw skill can actually prevent Jizo from summoning his shield, relics, clone and stop him from using his massive one-shot AoE attack. (Wait at least a couple of seconds while he's charging before using throw, or it will glitch him out.)
